In order to get rid of negativity brought on by your interactions with these people, you need to set some serious boundaries with the toxic people in your life. Let them know that they can talk about their problems, but only if they’re going to come up with clear ways to move forward.
Set a time limit on negative discussions, and ask them to respect what their negativity is doing to you.
If the person doesn’t seem to want to listen, you may need to cut them out of your life. Try building relationships with happier and more positive people — or pets — instead.
